    First Prize: $5,000 The selection of winner will be based on most voted video submission during the voting period of the Contest.
  • Contest Dates
    
    The Sedu Video Contest ("Contest") begins Apr 10, 2008 at 12:01:00 am Eastern Time ("ET"), and ends September 01, 2008 at 11:59:59 pm ET ("Contest Period"). During the Contest period there are a series of Contest-related events which start and end on or about the dates and times noted below:
    

    • Video Submission Period: Starts 12:01:00 am ET on April 10 and Ends 11:59:59 pm ET on August 25, 2008
    • Public Voting Period: Starts 12 April 17, 2008 and Ends 11:59:59 pm ET on September 01, 2008
    • Winners Announced September 05, 2008
  • Contest Entities
    
    Exceon American Beauty Supply, Inc. 10 Schalks Crossing Road, Plainsboro, NJ 08536. Exceon is the manufacturer of Sedu beauty products.
  • Eligibility
    
    Submitting a video in this Contest is open to persons who on the date of entry are legal residents of one of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, at least 18 (eighteen) years of age or older or legal age of majority in their state of residence. Employees, officers, directors and their immediate family members of the Contest Entities and their respective parents, affiliated and subsidiary companies, advertising and promotion agencies, legal and financial advisors, and any and all other companies associated with this Contest are not eligible to enter. For purposes of this Contest, "immediate family members" means parents, spouses, children, siblings, in-laws, grandmother, or grandfather.
  • How to Submit a Video in this Contest
    
    Create one (1) original video performance about hair with a Sedu product including a reference to the product ("Video Submission"). The Video Submission must meet the requirements set forth in Section 5 below. To enter your Video Submission in the Contest, go to the "Videos" section of the Sedu Site at http://www.sedubeauty.com/video ("Contest Web Site"), enter your Registration information and follow the instructions to submit your Video Submission. You should retain a copy of your Video Submission for your records, as it will not be returned by Sponsor. The Video Submission must be received by Sponsor during the Video Submission Period set forth in Section 1 above.
  • Sedu Video Submission Requirements
    
    Video Submissions must meet the following technical requirements:

    • Running Time: Suggested minimum running time is one minute in length inclusive of credits (if any).
    • Maximum File Size: 100MB
    • Video Formats: We accept video files from most digital cameras, camcorders, and cell phones in the wma, wmv, mpg3, mpg, mpeg, avi, mov, and zip file formats.
    • Language: English

    
    We trust you to be responsible with your video submissions , and millions of users respect that trust, so please comply within this general "Code of Conduct" and must not: (i) include trademarks, logos, or copyrighted material not owned by entrant or used without permission (such as company names, music, photographs, works of art, or images published on or in websites, television, movies, or other media); (ii) use individuals' names, in whole or in part (including the entrant's last name) without permission; (iii) refer to public figures; (iv) contain profanity, pornographic, or sexual content, content promoting alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms, or weapons, hateful content of any kind (including racism, sexism, etc.), content that promotes violence or harm to another living creature, or any other offensive, obscene, or inappropriate content; (v) defame, misrepresent, or contain disparaging remarks about other people or companies, including, but not limited to Sponsor; or (vi) contain materials embodying the names, likenesses, photographs, or other identifying elements of any person, living, or dead without permission.
    Sponsor and/or Administrator, and/or their designated representatives, will review all Video Submissions received during the Video Submission Period and will only post those Video Submissions on the Contest Web Site that conform to these Official Rules and the Terms of Use and Code of Conduct, as determined by the Contest Entities in their sole discretion ("Eligible Video Submissions"). Entries that do not comply with these Official Rules, as determined in Sponsor and/or Administrator's sole discretion, will be disqualified from the Contest and will not appear on the Contest Web Site. Decisions of the Sponsor and/or Administrator are final and binding.
  
  
• Make your video
  
  This is your chance to prove that your video is the best that the world has ever seen. It's your mark of symbol. So make a video and show us the magic. Get a camera , take the lens cap off and start shooting . Voting begins from day-one of the contest, so submit your video as early as possible to get the most votes.
  
  You've already read the rules by now (right?) but here are some tips:

  • Check out the tips from veterans.
  • A word to the wise: You may have noticed that this contest is presented by Sedu Beauty. Your best chance of winning is to mention Sedu in your video (in a good way, obviously).
  • Don't mention other brand products and services by name. We're nice people at Sedu, so if you want to mention our competition, be friendly and address the issue in a gentlemanly fashion.
